Excel kids’ academy is founded on the vision to produce a Christ centered, innovative, creative, all rounded child. We offer education, child discipleship, hands on learning and talents development.

Excel Education (Excel kids Academy)

Excel kids program is our children’s program inspired by the vision of raising a Christ centered, innovative and creative Child, through education, discipleship and practical learning programs. We use SWCH as our model ie, Skilling the Whole Child. The idea is to Skill Whole CHild with life skills.

At Excel academy we follow the SWCH ~ Switch model

The idea is to Skill Whole CHild with life skills. We focus on 3 areas:

Head: With the knowledge obtained from class
Heart: discipleship and character development. We use materials and training obtained from One Hope Ministries. This includes the 17 stories of the bible -from Genesis to the gospels-which are taught in a dramatic and engaging way for children. We equip our teachers to teach and add these values to their lessons.
Hands on learning: With practical skills such as Weaving, tailoring, shoe making, bookmaking, liquid soap making, poultry, piggery, farming, etc.

Excel Academy Tower (EAT)

A storied house construction is underway to provide both adequate and good accommodation, instruction rooms, a dining hall and chapel for the excel kids.

Our Projects

Music and talents development

God gave us beautiful talents. Some of them are sports, others are in arts, music dance and drama. We are committed to developing these talents to full capacity. We use our God given talents as a form of worship for him, and service to humanity.

Practical science and innovation

We love innovative learning of science and other subjects. We create models for innovative learning at excel kids academy for both natural and physical sciences. Our natural sciences models include, human, Blood circulatory system, human body Digestive system, human body Excretory system while our physical sciences models include the Electric bell, Bore hole, Periscope, Pinhole camera and Microscope

Digital skills

We are looking at the Scratch programming language. Through coding, we hope to train our children, teachers, and community in the 21st-century skills of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication.

Urban farming

We also promote urban farming, where we demonstrate crop and animal production on small sized pieces of land. We train and promote rabbit rearing in cages, chicken cages, IMO rearing of pigs, goats, mushrooms, bee keeping, zero grazed cattle and creating bio energy.

Excel Recreation/play center

We are planning on building a swimming pool, a soccer, basketball and netball play ground to develop our physical talents.

Child monthly support

Full support @ $…./month Or $…/year: This covers the monthly needs of the Child namely, education, feeding, accommodation & medical.

Partial support: Covers one of the 3 aspects above.

Staff support

You can support the program by sponsoring one or more teachers/child support staff. Average staff pay is $170 per month. We currently work with 2 music directors/trainers, 4 teaching and 2 non-teaching staff making a total of 8 staff team members.

One off infrastructural/development support

Children need and deserve a great environment for their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Join us in making this dream a reality by giving towards one of the following.
