Nehemiah development derives its inspiration from the book of Nehemiah in the Bible, a visionary and determined leader in ancient Israel who led fugitive captives to rebuild the broken walls of Jerusalem against incredible odds.
Excel ministries founded the Nehemiah development group whose vision is to rebuild the social and economic broken walls of our communities. We are a hand up not a handout. We envision holistically empowered and transformed lives through business entrepreneurship. Our business projects include a Saving and credit Association, a business center that empowers people with basic business skills, an incubation center and a practical skills department

- A center of innovation and creative learning. Home to Excel kids Academy and Excel urban farming projects. Our vision is to be a centre of inspiration, practical and innovative learning for both children and adults. Projects at Excel village include, local chicken rearing, vegetable growing on raised platforms and used tires, fish farming in containers, bananas, rabbitry, piggery, mushrooms and much more.
